Community Connections:

Empowering Wellbeing Through Social Engagement

November 2025 – February 2026 | Nottinghamshire
#ConnectNottingham

Connection is Care.

About the Initiative

This winter, Redefining Living CIC is bringing warmth, laughter, and connection to communities across Nottinghamshire.

Community Connections is a social wellbeing initiative designed to reduce loneliness, improve mental health, and empower residents—especially adults, older people, and those with long-term conditions or disabilities—to reconnect through meaningful engagement.

From friendly café gatherings to digital inclusion workshops, the project offers a seriesof free events and activities that make it easier to meet others, learn something new, and rediscover the joy of belonging.

Our vision is simple: Connection is Care.

Loneliness affects one in three adults in the UK, particularly during the winter months.Community Connections is our response—an invitation to pause, talk, and find warmth in shared humanity.

Together with local partners, GPs, and community champions, we’re building a stronger, more compassionate Nottingham where everyone feels seen, valued, and supported.

Each Community Connections event is designed to lift spirits, spark conversations, and support wellbeing.
